XG Setup with Cable Modem

Been using 105, in BRIDGE mode with a ISP-supplied router for many weeks now.  Had to change-over to a cable modem ISP.  Modem subnet is different than LAN subnet that contains many static IPS.  Not able to change modem's IP.  How do I go about setting the 105 for GATEWAY mode?  Will I need to change every single static now in a 192.168.1.x subnet to the new 192.168.100.x subnet??

  • Hi,

First, on what mode is the new router deployed, bridge mode or gateway mode?

If the router is in the bridge mode you just need to configure WAN interface with the public IP address or DHCP. Alongside, if the new router is in gateway mode, deploy router's IP as the gateway on WAN interface and configure a Firewall rule to MASQ the traffic.

    Thanks
