XG 430 SCCM and BITS

Hi all,

I seem to be having an issue with Sophos blocking the BITS HTTP Range header, so clients will not download content, and the only way i could get the clients to install was via GPO with /BITSPriority:FOREGROUND.

Can someone please tell me what needs to be configured so that the range header is allowed through and does not mess with our application deployment?

I checked the web filter log as an SCCM client checked in and it came under educational institutions and action was allow.

Yet the client is having BITS jobs blocked with 0x80200013, i have exhausted all other avenues and am fairly certain this is it, so now my question is how do i get it to allow?

Ok, i created a new firewall rule with a specific PC's IP that is having the issue, and turned off HTTP Scanning.

This seems to have resolved the issue, my question is, what is HTTP scanning and what is it allowing if i turn it off.

Is there another way to let BITS through?

We have this working now, just turned off http scanning for traffic going to our sccm server seems to be working ok
