  • Hi Stafano,

    Yes: Will override the configuration

    No: Below are the explanation

If Add entity event is performed ,it will push new entity to XG device

If Update entity event is performed :

    • If any change is there in configuration , It will update entity to XG device
    • If same configuration is updated and pushed then Push event fail

Hope above explanation clarify your query.

  • Hi,

if i have deleted Items in SFM (Hosts or Services), the Items will stay on Firewall if i push the new configuration.

Do i need to go to each firewall and delete this objects manually ? (i have choosen "override")

    Regards,

    Ralph

  • Hi Ralph,

If you deletes the items in SFM and choose override button then items on the firewall get deleted.

  • Hi Ravi,

actually not. This is my Problem.

I have created an IP-Hostgroup in SFM (TEST-GROUP). Applied to Firewall with Override. -> Object is on my Firewall

Then i have deleted Object in SFM (TEST-GROUP). Applied to Firewall with Override. -> Object is still there.

I use Templates in SFM. If i provision the Template i only choose "IP Host Groups".

In "Management System Events" on SFM i can see that all Host Groups are Updated. But none deleted.
