how to install XG home on XG 85 HW without an HDMI port

I just got a Sophos XG 85 and need to install XG home on it.  Being that the box does not have an HDMI slot, and I have all Macs, how do I perform the install without a screen?  Or how do I get this to output to a screen during the initial install?

    You can configure the appliance via RS232. If your Appliance has no Monitor Output (like the xg85) this is the only solution.But, if you prepare your bootable USB Stick correctly with RUFUS or a similar tool and XG Home Edition, you just need to plugin this Stick, boot the appliance, wait for half an hour, reboot the appliance, and the new Version is installed on it. The XG Setup is completely automated, and there is no need to click anything (You can speed up the setup by clicking, because there are some timeouts, but that's all).
