I am attempting to learn Linux, virtualization and Sophos UTM all at once. Good news is I got Sophos XG UTM installed on a CentOS 7 (everything build) in a KVM with the min requirements. I have been able to configure a bridge and gateway with 2 NICs. I got those basics. Bad news...
I cannot get bridge or gateway to pass internet traffic. I keep connection from my PC to the XG but no internets. Bottomline I need a much more detailed setup guide than what I have found on the sophos support and forums. I have a TP-Link Archer VR200R modem/router and a TP-Link 20 port unmanaged switch. I also have a wireless router, TP Link in AP mode only. I would like/think that the flow of traffic physically goes modem/XG/unmanaged TP-Link switch. With that said I need help with everything. it would be great if someone had a network diagram with the physical and virtual topo specifics so I could mimic the setup and press on.
