Wireless AP Bridge to VLAN

Hello,

I did not find very clear how vlan works with AP's. In particular I cannot understand why it's not possible to bridge to vlan 1. On my switch the vlan 1 is tagged and it's not the default AP vlan.

Also I'd like to authenticate association to wlan through the XG user database (as a radius server).

Thx

  • VLAN 1 is used by the Sophos XG. Remember the XG is a  level 3 device, so unlike the UTM (SG) you must create an IP address on the physical port before you can create a VLAN.
