if you Server is not located inside, you can filter email using IMAP or POP3 protocols.

Using these protocols, however, it is not possible to block spam but only change the Object Header on each message.

please give an example on how to get this going..Thanks.

you have 2 options:

1. Use the XG POP/IMAP template to scan inbound and outbound mail traffic. Of course your mail traffic will be scanned only if the clients are behind the XG otherwise traffic will not be scanned. Mail marked as SPAM will not be deleted but at the moment only the subject of the email can be changed to Something else (really poor)
2. Configure your MX record in the cloud to forward email to external XG IP address so it will receive email, scan and forward to Cloud Servers again. This concept, for example, works for UTM and Office 365. Because XG v16 uses MTA It should work.
