unable to create L2TP Connection

Good Afternoon,

I'm new in this section of IT.

A few weeks ago I installed a Sophos XG Firewall (SFOS 15.01.0 MR-2) to protect my Network and to conrol my kids
surfing behavior a little bit.
So far so good, but I want to use play with all the features, like VPN.
What ever I do, I can not establish a VPN connection either L2TP or IPSEC to access in the future my alarm system.

I searched several webpages and found no solutions, my VPN Client is a Windows 10 Laptop.
I added a few screen shots below.
L2TP is enabled and a user is added as member.

Where is my problem?

did you configure and enable L2TP inside LT2P settings?

Hi Luk,

Yes L2TP is enable and the IP Range is 192.168.0.100 to192.168.0.110

My DHCP is working below this range.

What error do you get?

Have a look at this kb and make sure to adjust Windows firewall in your client.

Hi Luk,

First, thanks for your time and help.

I was playing around last night and issued a certificate and I'm able to establish a connection with my android smart phone.

After creating a policy I'm also able to access my network.

Windows 10 is still not working, telling me that user name and password are not working with RAS Server, something like this.

Went away from presharekey.

I will check out your link tonight and will try to use a VPN Client like screw soft or Open VPN.

I WILL get this thing work and will post the solution later for sure.
