XG105W 5GHz Capabilities

Question

According to the spec sheet for the XG105w, it supports the 5GHz band, yet when I go and create a 5GHz-only network, and add it under "Access Points", it says it does not support the 5GHz band. What gives? I purchased this unit to be able to use the 5GHz band. Note that in the second screenshot, I get the same error even if I select 5GHz under "Advanced".

Hi, 
 SG105W and XG105W are dual-band/single radio devices. So while they support both bands, they can only operate on one band at a time. You have to choose which band they are operating on. 
 To do so, please go to the "Advanced Settings" of the access point. In there you can change the band as well as the channel it is running on. You should be able to change it to 5Ghz. After that, you should be able to assign the network you specified. 
 Based on your screenshot, the access point is configured to 2.4Ghz at the moment.
