System graphs - remove idle component?

Hi,

systems -> diagnostics -> system graphs is there anyway to remove the idle component of the cpu and memory graphs.

On my XG the idle CPU runs at 99% most of the time so the graph only has little dips of white from the top occasionally.

The memory graph shows the fre memory which over writes the used graph.

The load average graph 15  minute average graph hides the one minute and 5 minute graphs.

Suggestion to use lines rather than solid colours for the graphs.

  • I agree with you, Ian. On CPU and Memory the other colour does not even appear (User, System, Used and Total).

If you access CPU and Memory resources from Control Center, the graphs show you the usage percentage but time on the X-axis is missing. Not a great deal.

I do not understand why they forgot the timeline........

  • Or how it got past QA at least twice when the missing detail has been highlighted in the forums. While I understand they don't always acknowledge bugs raised in the forums, they could at least look at it and go oh yeah how did we miss that?
