IBM / Lenovo ThinkCentre s50 Installation Issues

I am new to sophos products and wanted to try out the XG firewall home edition. I am currently using a IBM / Lenovo ThinkCentre s50 with 2gb of ram 3 ghz processor and 40gb HDD. I am installing via a CD. When I boot off the CD is says "Starting Firmware Installation" and stays there. Have any thoughts?

if you are using a CD, it should work with no big issue. Can you try re-burning your CD? The other way is to use Rufus and USB Storage. See this thread:
