IPS policy slow after update to MR2

I have updated to MR2 and now editing an IPS policy is excruciatingly slow. It definitely wasn't this slow before. Anyone else have this issue? Any solutions?

Gary,

editing a IPS policy seems ok. The issue i have seen is editing a group inside IPS Policy. For example I have a WAN to LAN Copy IPS rule and editing "Operating Systems and Services" took 58 seconds in order to get all the signatures.

Ouch! Slow doesn't begin to describe it. This is approaching "unusable".

Well, something changed. It's flying along just fine now.

In the log, I do see: IPS definitions upgraded from 3.12.67 to 3.12.68.

David,

I confirm that now IPS Policy is not slow anymore as before. Problem solved from Sophos update.

After the update, mine is back to normal also. Thanks for the shared info. At least I know I am not crazy.
