Cannot integrate with AD.

I am trying to integrate with AD on Server 2008R2.  I have AD up and running, windows firewall is off, and netstat shows :389 and :636 listening.

If I attempt simple, it says "Test connection failed due to invalid credential."  

If I attempt SSL, the port changes and the error is " Test connection failed as server is down or unreachable"

If I try TLS, I get "Device - AD server connectivity failed"

I am out of ideas.  What have I missed?
