Update interval of Sophos Client Agent

Hello guys,

I've applied the default network traffic policy (100 MB Total Data Transfer policy) on a user, but the user usage went up to 140MB before disconnecting him.

Is there a time interval that the Sophos Client Agent waits before sending statistics to the Sophos XG firewall? How does this work?

    Greetings.

    Sophos Client agent is responsible for authenticating User(s) through XG.

    Before adding any thoughts, I request you to verify the configuration to restrict data usage on a User from here:

    https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/123063.aspx

    I suspect the additional 40 MB of data can be an overlap of previous usage of a User.

    Request you to create a test user and restrict the data to 12 MB. 

    Download 100 Mb file from the server located at http://speedtest.ttml.co.in and monitor if the consumption is more than the defined limit.
