Load Balancing Improvements for HTTP Policy

Hi All,

XG has different type of test when a server is down on Non-HTTP Policy rule (ping, tcp on specific port, etc...) while publishing Web Servers on HTTP/HTTPS does not allows to specify which control needs to be checked before a HTTP server can be understood as down.

I know that if the HTTP path is not reachable, the request will be forwarded to the next web server, but a more test control can be implemented.

What do you think about that?

Thanks.

  • Let me add some other suggestions:

On HTTP NLB I would like to have more features, such as:

    • Weighted roud-robin
    • Weighted least connection
    • Hash based on Source/Destination IP
    • Hash based on Cookies
    • Hash based on Header/URL

It is an impossibile feature request?
