Fix for Pending Access points stuck at 'Loading'?

Hi, there's a problem with UTM 9.400 and VLANs.

Otherwise, please describe how you have the AP connected.

This is running the xg sf15 mr1.1 firmware, not utm 9.4

Ap is connected via main lan. Currently no vlan setup.

can you confirm that AP is pingable? Inside the Log Viewer (System log) check the AP IP.

Also what do you see inside Protection > Wireless Protection > Access Point?

The ap is pingable from firewall and other machines.

As mentioned, in Access Points, all it says is 'Loading...' and that never changes no matter how long I wait

Also of note, If I go to Protection > Wireless Protection > Access point groups, I can add the access point there, which is odd since I haven't approved it yet.

Ya, that sounds similar to what we're seeing with our ap55c units. I've confirmed both do same thing, definitely a firewall software thing and not an AP issue. One of the APs was direct out of the box, and the other I tested against a utm9.4 and confirmed it works.

As a partner, this is very disheartening so far. If it's not one thing it's another with this xg firmware.   Anyone know what's going on with the MR2 that was supposed to be out in march?

I have an open SR with support, so far they just wanted to know status. I'll update after they've actually had me try things or remoted in to take a look

it seems that we will get V16 directly instead of MR2. See this thread:

We do not know. If a issue list does not exist.

They tried a couple times to get me to move to UTM9 software to resolve.  Now it's finally being escalated.

Just an FYI...that is not the case at all MR2 is on its way, probably another week or two.

So, MR2 is out, and sadly does not resolve.

Support confirmed that it's a UI thing since the APs are showing up in the backend and are seeing appropriate network traffic everywhere they expect them to, so it's a weird UI bug.  Waiting for engineering to provide a manual workaround to force AP approvals.

this is very sad! At least they need to provide a way to accept the access point using the CLI. Hope you get a workaround from Support and you post it here. Thanks.

Yes. Today a new AP firmware was released under Updates. See screenshot.

Thanks, but no difference.  Support already confirmed it's an issue on the UI itself as the APs are showing up and talking to the XG properly for their part, just the interface to approve them is busted for me and likely others.  Waiting for workaround still.
