Blocking TeamViewer

Dear All, 

we are using XF firewall and trying to block Team Viewer through that. we have made an application filter which denies "Team viewer Conferencing" & "Team viewer File Transfer" (only apps associated with Team viewer in Application list) and applied this to a policy which targets a particular user to block team viewer access to that user.

but team viewer works to that user & Log viewer even doesn't show traffic for Team viewer from that particular user. (other applications are being blocked).

do we need to add more application category or web filter to block team viewer ?

    Please verify the Application Filter policy is configured correctly from the how-to video here or read the XG pocket guide here. Show me the output you see after executing the following command in Device Console,

    • show ips-settings 
    • system application_classification microapp-discovery ON
