Firmware update

so inside SFM if you go to System Management > Device Settings > Firmware and you check for the lastest firmware nothing appears?

I built mine using the latest download, it shows SFMOS 15.01.0, but no mention of MR1 when or software available when I check for latest firmware.

That is correct. I see it on each individual device when I log in but not from the SFM.

It is possible to schedule firmware updates via SFM Firmware page (System Management > Device Settings > Firmware).

SFM MR-1 firmware is not released yet. Once SFM MR-1 firmware is released ,user can click on check for latest firmware link and upgrade the firmware of SFM.

So in order to update the firmware on the XG's attached to the SFM the SFM has to have the updated firmware first?

Sorry for confusion.

In order to update the firmware on the XG's attached to the SFM ,user does not need to upgrade SFM  firmware first.

Can you provide the firmware version of XG's attached to SFM? if you inside SFM , System Management > Device Settings > Firmware page  and you check for the latest firmware nothing appears?

No worries on the confusion, its probably equally my fault.

The devices are currently at SFOS 15.01.0 and when I go to check for latest firmware on the SFM I do not see any available updates. Also I am using the cloud version of the SFM if that makes any difference.

Reported issue is already identified bug in SCFM (Sophos Cloud Firewall Manager).

For reference Bug ID is NCCC-2488. Issue will be covered in future releases of SCFM
