Can I create an exception based on MAC address to skip authentication when using "voucher code" in hotspot for internet access from clients? thanks

Hello, I have setup Hotspot with voucher code. I would like to exclude some spefici device (my boss iPad for example) to be asked for voucher code when surfing the internet from the Hotspot interface. Does anyone can help me to understand if it is a possible scenario?

Thanks

  • Davide,

    welcome to community.

The best way to offer Hotspot and keep secure your network is to create 2 separate WLAN. One can be bridged to LAN and used internally while the second WLAN, created as Separate zone, can be used and configured for hotspot.

To create an additional WLAN go to Protection > Wireless Protection > Wireless Networks
