Migrate from SG 125 to XG

at the moment you cannot migrate from UTM to XG directly. You have to format the UTM and install the XG losing your current configuration. A migration tool will be available in this summer.

Agreed. The lack of disclosure on this tool is very irritating. It worries that this isn't published anywhere. Makes me curious if this is a serious project or if this just a fools wish at this point.

Consider that XG is suffering of logs and other features that UTM9 has. So if you really want to move to XG and your installation is not so big, proceed with a clean installation and create all the config. from the scratch.

I did on some installation (SG110, SG120, SG210, SG230) with no big issues.

I guess the tool will be available with the release of v17 (middle of the summer).

We have a relativity large set of rules. I really need IKEv2 but it also appears the UTM will never see this.
