ip based traffic report available?

Yes, the IP based Reports are available. To achieve this you can follow the following steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the Custom Report option, PFA screenshot below:

Step 2: You can find the detailed or summarized Reports by selecting any Custom Report option.

Believe me with XG, Reporting is simple and easy.

Thanks but this is only the web report. I need the traffic volume of all data for an ip. with smtp, ssh, web, mysql-traffic... and also with protocol overhead and inbound and outbound.

go to Reports > Dashboard > Traffic Dashboard, then under hosts area click on the host and you will get all the traffic generated by that IP.

but this screen didn't show inbound traffic. all request from extern is not included.

yes. i have try to enable save protocol for WAN 2 SERVER and SERVER 2 WAN. But for the Host ist every time the sender ip. For WAN Incoming connections means the public ip address from requestor. in my case i need this traffic as incoming and for SERVER 2 WAN as outgoing + protocol overhead for both. so the report ist not useable for us.

for better understanding: we use sophos in our datacenter, too. behind the firewall we have 500 servers and we need traffic report for payment.

We understand the requirement but reporting on such detailed scale is not feasible, with Firewall you cannot rely on Reporting modules with such high granularity. For such reporting we request you to deploy a dedicated reporting Appliance which can suffice your requirements.

You can still report this instance to our Support team and raise a Feature Request through the following URL:

Marco's requirement is a base requirement that should be implemented inside XG.

Marco open the feature request and I will give my vote.

Yes i think it is a normal report which should included into XG.

Hi Alex,

Only available with excel download. Go to,

Reports > Settings > Data Management > Export customization = enable.

I would have liked to have this question as a different thread as we always follow a rule for one question per thread. That makes it more transparent to find a solution.
