Greetings.
Unauthenticated User redirection is selected as:
"Yes" to redirect the access request of unauthenticated user either to the Captive Portal or Custom Message page."No" to display "Access Denied" message to unauthorized user.

This will give you a better idea about the Captive Portal settings.

we have an XG firewall installed. kindly let me know how this device coupe with "Local Administrator" of a windows computer. does it consider it as un-authenticated user ?
if so, then i get no message while browsing through Sophos XG (trying method above). the device is in gateway mode. and there is just a single policy denying all traffic.
my purpose is to show "captive portal" on unauthenticated users (including local administrator of a windows computer) when someone try to browse through appliance.
