Where can I request to add a new app to the application control list?

Can't find Slack in the applications list. How can I add it?

    For my own interest, I used your suggested form to request an additional Application (CJDNS). Yes, I admit it was not a real need from my site, my goal was to test sophos's reaction on it.

    As it looks, your Form in background generates a standard Support Case. Your Support People do not know how to care about. From your Support Staff I got the following feedback:

    Hello Christian,

    Thank you for emailing Sophos Technical Support. Please can you provide me with the following for accurate case logging:

    - License #: (This should be implemented as a mandatory Field in your Form)
    - Is this for an application control request? If yes proceed to below queries. (Aehm... I'm requesting over a Application Request Form so of course I am..)
    - Is this a brand new application that we don’t detect or an update to existing one? (This should be implemented as a mandatory Field in your Form)
    - What Application category this should be included in? (eg Game, Browser) (This should be implemented as a mandatory Field in your Form)

    Please fill out below  if this is for Application Control Request
    Application name: (This is implemented in your form, but your Support does not know how to deal with it)
    Suggested Category:
    New or update:

    Once done, please provide us a sample file. A sample file is now mandatory. We need the file that runs the software.
    (Should be implemented in your Form to upload a sample file)

    If they have the software installed and a shortcut to start the software, the file that shortcut links to is the one we need.

    Example: program Location is "C:\Program Files (x86)\FileZilla FTP Client\filezilla.exe"
    - we need the "filezilla.exe" file. (CJDNS which i requested is an Application in Linux. I do not understand why it is relevant for a Gateway Solution, where the Application it is related)


    So as a conclusion from my side there can be said:
    This form is a nice idea, but it is not deliberated.
    Your support does not know about that form. Furthermore they do not know how to deal with it.

    Please take this as a constructive input to improve your support processes.
