How to configure XG Firewall policy to block certain apps & apply web content filters with exception for certain users?

I need help to configure the firewall,

This firewall is a bit different & confusing from UTM 9.x.

1) Configure Application filter

2) Configure Web content

3) Firewall rules

4) How to exempt certain users from the rules?

I would really appreciate if any one can help me out or shade some light on it.

Abbas,

XG uses different concepts: unified policy. You can create ad many rules and app/web filter policies. So the first matched rule will take precedence.
So if you need that user A can access certain apps while other cannot,create a rule that allows user A then next create a rule for all other users....and so on.

Hi Luk,

I have created a policy and have added the entire LAN, in the application filter I have created a filter to deny certain apps, by default I have allow all, if I change that to the one which I created the internet stops!!! I am not sure what is it that I am doing!
