Unable to change or create a web filter policy

I have set up my Sophos XG home firewall. Im trying to create a new web filter policy, but I get the message in red saying Web Filter Policy could not be updated. Any ideas on how to get around this?

You will need to provide more details than asking for a work around. What are you trying to do?

Im trying to create a new web filter policy. I go thru the process of creating it and when I click 'Save', I get a message in red that pops up at the top of the screen saying Web Filter Policy could not be created. I get a similar message when trying to edit an existing policy.

Hi TimAlbrecht,

Are you signed in as the admin or an account that has the appropriate privileges to adjust the Web Filter Policies? If not, you have a view-only status; this results in the error you're seeing here.

Make sure you're signed in as the admin, which with factory settings, is admin/admin.
