  • You need the Sophos Network Agent app for the mobiles to install the file. You can download it from AppStore or Google PlayStore.
    Best Regards.

  • Old thread, I know, but I just installed the Sophos Network Agent on my Note Edge (as in Note 4 Edge), but it did not register with the .scc extension.  When I click on the certificate, I just get a message from Android that no application is registered to handle that file type.

How do I get the Network Agent to register for the .scc file type so I can import my certificate?  Can I install my certificate manually?  Is there a folder I can stuff it into?

  • Answer my own question...I used ES File Explorer.  I pressed and held the certificate so that it was selected.  I then hit the "More" menu at the bottom of the screen, which brought up a menu with a "Open As" choice.  It then asked me the type, which I said "Other".  That presented me with a list of just about every app on the device.  I found "Sophos Network Agent" and selected it...but before that, hit the "Set as the default app" button at the bottom of the dialog.  Only then did the certificate import.

I'm guessing something was missed during installation and the app didn't register for the .scc extension correctly.  However, if you follow the procedure above, with the "set as the default app" part, then it will be registered for .scc after that.
