Hi,
Due to my main ISP failure I was forced to play with a 3G modem on XG again. I have noticed a strange behavior.
I have added a 3G USB modem to the XG. Configured it and it connects fine. Gateway failover rules have been setup and everything looked fine until main gateway came up.
XG brought down 3G link and displayed 3G gateway down warning (!) When I switched WWAN off - the XG displayed a warning about "mwan" service which has been stopped. Appliance reboot returned things to normal conditions.
Isn't it a bug? Disabling WWAN should certainly disable "mwan" service as well but if only one more gateway is configured this is a normal situation, right? No warnings needed.
The same is with backup gateway status. If the main gateway is up and the backup WWAN gateway is not needed then its status should not degrade overall connection status.
Anyone observed that situation? What are your thoughts on that?
