I'm trying to install XG Firewall home and get the message "No Appliance hardware has been detected". I'm using a Biostar H61MHV Motherboard which has a LAN port, 4 gig memory, an Intel I3 processor and a PCI NIC adapter.
Please help.
I suspect your problem is your NICs? The onboard NIC is a realtek and you didn't give any indictaion of your added NIC? Try a dual port intel based card.
Also possible he downloaded the wrong ISO, the one for appliances and not the one for software install.
Is the ISO named SW-SFOS_15.01.0-376.iso or HW-SFOS_15.01.0-376.iso? The first one is the one you want, the second is only for Sophos branded appliances.
