i just installed the firewall iso file on my mac os x el capitan with the vmware fusion 8.0.2 . but i didnt get the screen that i can accept the eula...the screen stays black. after a few seconds a password field is coming and i put "admin"
Hopefully one of your Fusion interfaces is configured to use 172.16.16.0/24 network. If not you will need to either add/change one. Once this is done you need to point your browser to https://172.16.16.16:4444 so you can see the EULA.
This is what I had to do to test XG on my local system so I could document what I would need to do if I transitioned from UTM before their were migration tools available.
