Problem setting up Google drive through xg - how to fault find

Hi,

I setup the home addition over Christmas, and I've started to setup the services through the firewall.

But Google drive won't connect, I can see in the logs that the personal storage category is being allowed and the Google URL is there.

But it still doesn't work, if I disconnected the firewall to my pc, and connect directly it burst into life.

So it must be something in the xg, but where do I start to look to find out what's blocking it???

Thanks

Pete

  • Hi Peter,

    Thanks for choosing Sophos.

To capture what is dropping through Firewall, take the Shell access to UTM and go to option 4. Device console.

Type the following command, console> drop-packet-capture 'host x.x.x.x and port 443.

Here, x.x.x.x will be the IP address of source system on which Google Drive is accessed.

Monitor the logs and change the required configurations on XG.

If you do not understand the log lines anywhere, just post them :)

    Thanks
