High Availability

Question

I am trying to configure high availability on my Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition, but I keep getting a faulty message on my auxiliary device. I followed the instructions in the knowledgebase article 123174, but I am not able to get it to work. It gives the faulty message for both active-active and active-passive. 
 
 I have the DMZ setup as a static IP with the IP address as 10.10.2.41 the netmask is 255.255.255.0. For everything else I followed the KB article. 
 
 Anyone have any ideas of what might be wrong?

 Ha does not work on home license. 
 Ha requires a paid license. 
 John please next time you open a thread try to be more specific on the thread object.

Ferrara, 
 Just reporting the cause of the issue: one of the monitored ports had no connection. 
 One of the "Monitored Ports" of the auxiliary device had a 0 RX value due to a bad ethernet cable connected to the port.

 After changing the cable the HA went up as Primary-Auxiliary as normal.
