Sophos SG Security Appliance

hallo,

frage1: für was alles kann ich bei den hardware-appliances die USB-ports nutzen?
ist es möglich eine usb-platte anzustecken auf welche dann protokolle & logs archiviert werden können?

frage2: muss ich jedem interface eine ip geben? ich möchte nur ein WAN-interface haben & die restlichen ports (auch HA & DMZ) als "switch-ports" nutzen (intern natürlich).

USB: für ne Tastatur oder ein CD Laufwerk zum reinstallieren.

Ethernet Ports:
Die Beschriftung ist nur Marketing. Alle Ports können umkonfiguriert werden. Du kannst einen als WAN und die anderen als Bridge verwenden. Die Ports sind allerdings nicht als ein klassischer Switch nutzbar.
