SMTP-Proxy neu starten

Hallo,
weiss jemand von euch wie man den SMTP-Proxy über die Konsole (putty)
oder Webadmin neustarten kann, ohne die ganze Box runterzufahren?

/etc/init.d/exim restart geht ja leider nicht...
