I can't get this to work.
I followed these instructions, got my e-mail that CLEARLY states that this license is for a Home License, yet after registering it shows that I have a 30 day trial.
"To confirm: The Home Use license is found here: www.sophos.com/.../sophos-xg-firewall-home-edition.aspx. The email that gets sent starts "Thank you for your interest in Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition". Registering using the serial number contained in the email will result in a perpetual Home Use license"
I currently show that I have two devices registered, both of which are the "30 Day Trial". I don't want the 30 day trial, I want to register this thing with a home license.
Please, someone give me the proper sequence for registering this thing with a Home License.
1: Clicked on the link above and registered for a Home License. ( Event though the page wants my "Business E-Mail". Why? This is a Home License.
2: Download the software. Did that ( Is there a different ISO for home/business? )
3: Install the software. Did that. Entered the serial number that was in the e-mail I received after registered on lime 1 above.
4: Clicked on the activate/sync buttons shown on the first page that the box displays. Everything was " Successful "
5: Log on to the " MySophos " site and check the license. 30 day trial.
6: Went through the steps again. Same result. Now I have two 30 day trials registered.
6: Gave up and decided to ask here.
If there is a procedure that someone has actually performed and ended up with a Home License, I would greatly like to have a copy of those steps.
