SOPHOS XG Firewall - Issue with VPN Clientless Access

Hello,

I have an issue with VPN Clientless Access on XG Firewall SFOS 15.01.0.

I try to add a bookmark for an RDP connection to a PC (Windows 10) but if i try to open the bookmark on User Center Portal, i get this message : {"result":{"error":"Session unauthorized"}}

Do you have an idea to solve my issue?

I have tried this option :

- Create permissive firewall rule

- Change settings for RDP on Windows (uncheck secure connection with NLA)

- Check logs on sophos (but i don't find logs for Clientless Access)

Thanks,

  • You have to turn down the security a bit in Windows 10 or 2012 and beyond. The default on these newer OS's is to allow only strict RDP sessions (more secure) however you only get that if you're connecting from other Microsoft RDP clients running on Windows. To connect to Windows 10 from clientless (or Linux or Guacamole, etc) you have to turn down the security (less secure) in the Remote Desktop panel. Hope this helps
