http-based policy gives "You must enter a valid domain name" when entering wildcard domain

I want to add an http-based policy for a wildcard domain.  But when I add *.domain.com, I get the message "You must enter a valid domain name.".

According to the manual this sould work (page 34-35 on www.sophos.com/.../Sophos-XG-Firewall-Administrator-Guide.pdf

    From the information I've been able to find on this so far I suspect that this is a problem with the documentation as I don't believe that the use of wildcard domains here is currently implemented. Leave this with me and I'll update again with whether we are planning on updating the documentation or if this is coming in a subsequent update.
