SFPs compatibility with HP 5820X-24XG-SFP+

Hi everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to inquire about the compatibility of the SOPHOS 3300XGS , SFP+ module with the Switch HP 5820X-24XG-SFP+.

We are currently evaluating our network infrastructure and considering using these products. However, we want to ensure that they are fully compatible with each other before making any decisions.

If anyone in the community has experience using these products together or has any information or insight regarding their compatibility, I would greatly appreciate your input.

    What SFP+ module are you referring to?

    Sophos has built-in SFP+ ports on the XGS3300 as well as Flexiport modules with SFP+ ports. To connect those to a switch, you need SFP+ transceivers that connect to the fiber cable.

    Sophos transceivers are standard conformant. So this should work with any other transceiver/switch on the other side of the fiber cable.

    Also, kindly see below the list of third-party SPFcompatilibity list.
