Sophos XG VoIP Problem

Hello community,

we configured our new Sophos XG Firewall and now we have a problem we are not able to solve.

When we use the VOIP Client on the PC everything works fine. (Incoming Calls, outgoing calls etc.)

When we use the hardware phones and directly call from them or accept calls directly on them, the internal calls from one device to another work fine but on external calls the audio works only one way. the external caller can hear us but we can't hear them.

I'm hoping somebody can help us with this problem.

    we solved our problem.

    Our telephone devices are connected behind REDs and our VoIP Clients are in the same network as the SBC. After viewing the packets with tcpdump I saw that the incoming traffic was not showing on the RED network.

    After that I checked the routes in our SBC for the RED network and discovered an error in the config. After fixing this everything worked like a charm.

    Thank you for the tip to scan the packets with tcpdump.
