XG Backup can not be sent via Exchange

Hello Community,

since our xg email protection license expired, we can not send our appliance backups via smtp.
Even the "Test Email" under Administration - Notification Settings fails.

If I have a look into the system log it says "Fail to send mail : Cannot connect to mail server 127.0.0.1 : 24"

I am missing something? Does it have anything to do with the expired email protection license?

"Normal" notifications (failed webadmin logins) are sent successfully...?!

    the local host is in this scenario the sophos xg...? Why is Sophos XG using Port 24 for sending backup files? On our email server nothing has changed. Our branch office can send backups via email over the same mail server i try to in my initial post.
    Sending backups over gmail is not a thing because of security reasons. I will repeat, that email notifications are sent correctly!
