Cloud VoIP and XG - Need basic help

I'm trying to get a SIP device on my network to work with RingCentral and I'm having bizarre issues. Its successfully registered. I've tried setting the proxy to both UDP and TCP and get the same behavior. I've tried unloading the SIP module in the XG and get the same behavior. Here are my symptoms:

1) If I try to initiate outgoing calls from my SIP device, they don't connect.

2) If I call the device's RingCentral number from my cell phone, it will ring and I can pick it up on the device. Audio works both ways for a short time, but the call will usually disconnect on its own after 20-40 seconds.

I don't have any special rules set on my XG. Any thoughts/advice from someone that has gotten SIP devices to work with a cloud VoIP provider via the XG?
