There are some channels on your Youtube that should not be watched in a workplace setting or around children who are at home. I only want those channels to be blocked, not the entirety of YouTube.

It is possible to filter or block the titles of channels.

The easiest way is to login at the youtube site, select your profile and activate "restricted mode". Maybe it's called different in english, but this is translated from german. You can select further filtering options there.

When you switch to "restricted mode," the live streams of other channels will no longer appear, even when you search for them by name.

Those channels, whose shows we do not wish to continue, are still showing.

I don't believe you block channels because each video is on a different channel each time.

I don't think you can solve this at the fireall level. Even when there is an application aware filter on it. You would have to judge the content ....
