Restriction for SD-RED

Are there any limits to the number of SD-RED connected to XGS?
Will connecting say 3 SD-RED put more load on XGS than 3 site-to-site VPNs?
I have an XGS 126 and I want to connect 3 - 5 locations to take advantage of the full security offered by XGS.

    Are there any limits to the number of SD-RED connected to XGS?

    • SD-RED max connection theoretical is 799, recommended max is 600, therefore connecting 3 - 5 is no issue
    • SD RED20 has a maximum throughput of 250Mbps
    • SD RED60 has a maximum throughput of 850Mbps

    Also, I would recommend contacting your Sophos Partner/Sales Engineer to better assist you with all of your queries and requirements.
