Your supplier did not upgrade his offer. All Licenses are upgraded to 1C4 and 2C4. 

what about existing licenses that are still v17.5? and lic 1C2? upgrade to v18.0 how?

All licenses were migrated to 1C4. 

is there a way to confirm that on the installed instance?

with all due respect is there an official document that describes the details? 

The migration was in April 2019. I am not sure, if there is any kind of information left on the platform. 

that was before I switched to Sophos! Purchased last one jan 2021 nothing was said. 

Please share a screenshot of your Licensing Page and Burr your Serialnumber and personal information. There should be a Hardware modell.
