[XG V19] Route a single host through a different WAN

I need to route a single host through a WAN that is not the default wan.

In the previous firmware version I just had to create a firewall rule and specify the gateway, but now...I'm lost.

I've followed this article Sophos Firewall v19: How to Choose The Gateway For A Firewall Rule, but or I'm missing something, or there is not the section where the SD-WAN routes is applied to a firewall rule.

Thanks!
Andrea

  • Hello Andrea,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

Since version 18, Firewall Rules and NAT Rules are decoupled (you can take a look at this that explains a bit more about it)

Because of that change, the SDWAN and Firewall Rules work in matching criteria. This Recommended Read should help you clarify this a bit more.

Additionally, I'd recommend signing up for this Interactive Training course. That will help you familiarize yourself with some changes you’ll see from v18 onward.

    Regards,
