As far as I know, we can allow or block YouTube with help of a Web filter or with an Application filter, seems you have a feature request to meet your requirement.

Put a vote on the Feedback button available on Sophos XG firewall from GUI.

Sorry, but as mentioned in the first line "We want to allow access to YouTube", as there are lots of useful educational videos on there, we just need to lock down the search more. Strict mode is already in-place but this is not enough.

As Bharat have indicated, this would fall under Feature request. I'd recommend you to reach out to your Account Manager, Sales Engineer, or Sales Representative so that they can enter this request into our system.

Additionally, you can use the in-product feedback in the Sophos Firewall located in the Top Menu Bar.
