Install Sophos Home Edition on Sophos XG 230 rev 1 - would that work?

Thank you for reaching out to the community, here is the datasheet for XG 23, once you have installed Sophos Home Edition, you can use the following commands in the SFOS in the advance shell [On the CLI, select option 5. Device Management, then option 3. Advanced Shell.]: - 
1.) cat /proc/cpuinfo
2.) cat /proc/meminfo

A slight misunderstanding, the home licence  allows for a maximum of 4 cores, does not require 4 cores.

The XG 230 rev 2 has a dual core pentium, so I would not expect the rev 1 to be more powerful.

Hi Chris,

I run Sophos Home on an SG 210 rev1 appliance and its working great. Also running on a SG 330 on another side.
