How to configure and connect sophos xg with modem( router mode)

Have you tried to configure your Sophos Firewall WAN port with a static IP of your Local LAN from your Modem?

Then create an allow FW Rule.

Ok, but what FW rule create?

And is there only this famous rule to do?

I think the traffic with flow two NAT points and two Routing points

so wht about nating

I know that WAN port of FW will have ip adress from the ONT (Modem) , it can be fixed or can be dynamic

but what about others configs to do

I didn't find anythings on sophos documentation

you build the firewall rules and NAT as if you had a router in bridge mode, the issue will be setting up tunnels with the double NAT.

You can try not using a NAT on the XG.

So i can in other way to disbale NAT rule on XG and it work ?

Just don’t create the Nat rule and that should work, eg it is a bit like setting lan to lan rules that don’t require a Nat.
