Is possible to connect a PC from one branch office to a NAS from other branch office through the head office RED tunnel ?

Hello,

I have a problem with connection a PC in one branch office to a NAS in other branch office. We a four branch offices and all of them are connected to head office through a RED tunnel. It is a star topology. If i try to connect from head office to any branch office it works without problems. But if i try connect some device from branch office to another branch office it not works.

I tried to set firewall rules and static routes on branch offices which i want to connect, but no traffic goes through. On head office is firewall and routing also set. But i dont if is this corretly set.

Head office: Sophos XG210

Branch office: Sophos XG105 (there is PC)

Branch office: Sophos XG115 (there is NAS)

So I'm asking if is this can work on this RED tunnels? Because I didn't found any topic of this problem.

Thank you.

  • Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.
Have you tried to use any how-to videos, documentation, Sophos Assistant, or KBA to try to check the issue?

Have you allowed the PC to access all sites on FW Policy?

    • Source Site going to Destination Site.
    • Head Office going to and from both Branch sites
    • Destination site to source branch site
  • Hi,

thank you for a quick answer.

Yes, I looked in the manual and i didn't found the topic about that.

Yes, I allowed the PC access like you write that and still no ping or something.

Maybe is the problem in routing.
