Sophos XG Home dual interfaces 8 ports if I use 8 ports it will be work or not

Which nics do you have? Intel or other manufacturer? I would use a hypervisor and use a VM with sophos xg home - with virtualization you will have lesser driver issues

Yeah, should work. I have a SG 310 with more as 8 ports and use XG home on it.

I will use Sophos XG Home Edition by free license and I don't have any Sophos hardware  or premium  license that is what I mean.

I did understand you. I just said, that I use hardware with more as 8 ports and the Sophos XG Home Edition is working with it. So should the ESXi VM also work with 8 ports configured to it.

I think you have your connections reversed, 7 for LAN and 1 for WAN, yes that will work in either hardware or virtual setup.

Why 7 for WAN, do you have that many external connections?
