Unable to log in to web management due to firmware update notification

Question

This is far from the first time I've seen this, but switching to another browser usually does the trick. I have an XG125 running 18.5.3 MR-3. When logging in, a notification pops up prompting to update to 19.0.1, but only half loads and is unable to be closed. Refreshing the page takes me back to the login screen.

Hi Jeremy, I had same issue and opened a case (ID:05861126). After development team worked over than one month, they found the root cause finally. 
 We got solution . we need to remove below two files from your appliance and need to reboot it. 
 
A temporary solution for the customer is to delete two files from the your appliance,

/sdisk/u2d/downloads/HW-19.0.1_MR-1.SF300-365.sigrNotes.txt 

/content/u2d/status_HW-19.0.1_MR-1.SF300-365.sigrNotes.txt

Reboot the appliance

But actually we didn't input the command and didn't reboot the appliance, 
 support team fixed the issue through support access tunnel quietly.

 It looks like this was escalated to GES, under NC-111616, and you were providing the workaround you shared, but a fix version is in the works.
